The restored Kelso Depot. It is now a visitor's center staffed by a friendly and helpful ranger. There are many interactive displays about the Mojave Desert. They are hoping to contract with someone to man the gorgeous lunch counter, but so far no one is willing to make the investment to start a business in an old ghost town in the middle of nowhere.
