Entrance to Mission San Juan Capistrano, the 7th of California's 21 missions. The mission is known as the Jewel of the Missions because of The Great Stone Church. Completed in 1806, it was the largest and most beautiful church on the West Coast of California, and was considered an architectural marvel.
